The Man was a supporting character in the second story of More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, "The Walk". He was walking on the dirt road alongside the narrator's uncle and walked with the uncle.

The Man was First seen my the narrators uncle on the same dirt path walking,both were afraid of each other and as it got darker,tension grew as they approached a big woods and as they got deeper The Uncle screamed as the story ended leaving both there fate unknown,however since both were afraid of each other so we can probably conclude that neither were harmed and both got away which is main reason the narrator could tell the story
