I've been thinking about this for quite a while, and I was wondering if you could befriend Harold in some way?
The boys who was rude and hit him with a bat were chased by him, but if you said nice things about him and said hello a few times a week, could you actually become "friends" with him?
Something that ive noticed is that some of the pictures feel almost like limbo like the oh susannah illustration

October 15th, 2017. My 5th birthday. I was outside with my Pitbull named Sasha [R.I.P. 2009-2019] and I looked to the edge of the field which was a few hundred feet from our yard and next to the highway. There was a completely black canid with white eyes staring at me. This thing looked like the size of the cars on the highway and looked like if I was looking at a normal dog from 5 feet away. I hid behind the pine tree, Sasha spotted it, started running at it barking and it hid in the bushes, never to be seen again. Sasha died of bladder cancer in 2019.
In 1953 A 14-year-old named Paul went on a hunt with his father John who was a marine corp veteran who served in world war 2. they packed up their things in their truck and drove off. when they reached the hunting grounds, they unpacked their things and pitched their tents. later that night the duo heard rustling in the bushes. "what was that!" paul shouted "it was probably a deer " john answered. an hour later they went to sleep. the next morning they gathered their rifles and went into the woods. later that day it was getting dark
"wow I'm tired dad," Paul said as he yawned. "so am I," John said. when they walked to the camp paul saw something in the trees. he saw red gleaming eyes near the trees and something smelled terrible"dad I see red eyes" Paul said in fear. "so do I " john said frightened. then paul and john chambered a round in their rifles and aimed at the thing. "run paul I will take care of this bastard" john exclaimed. Paul grabbed his rifle and ran to the camp. paul heard gunshots and a bloodcurdling scream that wasn't from a human being. when paul came back to the camp he set up bear traps and grabbed his father's semi-automatic m1 garand and hid in his tent. then his father came back or rather what was left of him. john's rifle was stuck in John's hand. the lower half of his body was ripped off. his intestines were dangling from his body. an hour later the police came they found his body but they didn't find the killer. some say It was a wendigo some say it was a bigfoot but it still remains a mystery to this day.

I finished all three Scary Stories books! They were so good!
Today my order for the original Scary Stories books arrived. I got Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and Scary Stories 3: More Tales to Chill your Bones. I'm not going to read them until I finish Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark: The Haunted Notebook of sarah Bellows. Sarah Bellows' book is really good; I !EXTREMELY! recommend it.
I’m sorry for what happened to the pages my little brother was messing around on my computer I’m sorry about what happened I’m sorry about what my little brother said to you guys
I discovered Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark when the film came out on Netflix. I am a BIG fan of Scary, Horror, Fear; I just love feeling those emotions, and that's why I watched Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark. After that I figured out it was based off an old book series, consisting of three books called Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and Scary Stories 3: More Tales to Chill Your Bones. So I went to Amazon and looked up "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books." I found a cool book called Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark: the Haunted Notebook of Sarah Bellows. I ordered it. I wanted to order the three original books but . . . I'm broke. Later I found a $50 Amazon gift card and ordered them, so they'll be at my house tomorrow. I've already started The Haunted Notebook of Sarah Bellows; I read the story titled "Harold." It was pretty good. Also I like that stupid guy named "Tommy" dying; that was very pleasing to me. Overall I just love this whole new world of scary-ness. I love horror movies and books, and now I've discovered these; so I'm gonna get readin' the next story.
